Hello, I am a Ranger with some Carbineer and some Creature Handling but I was thinking about buying an Attack Droid. I only have bits and pieces of information and I dont fully understand your class so I am not sure what to look for.

This is what is holding me back from buying right now

-I hear that droids can be deathblowed in combat. I hear this will be changed, should I wait till droids can no longer be deathblowed?

-What is this business of repairing a droid? Does my probot regenerate health or do I need someone to repair it after each combat? I hear about droids with repair modules but they can't repair themselves?

Those are my 2 biggest concerns.

I just want a worry free pet, something that I can get some good use out of, even if eventually it wears out. I just don't want to have to baby it everytime I bring it out.

I just got Expert Blueprints today, and made myself a Probot out of curiousity. I probably won't use him for much unit permadeath and repair tools go in. I also won't be making any for other people until they do.

Even though he's nerfed, I still named him Complaints.

The reason I always give is:

No matter how many creatures you can have out at a time, you can always have your probot out as well. And that helps in combat. period

The medium armour should stop alot of damage from getting to your droid, and 820 ham will keep it on it's feet for atleast a few minutes. I don't recomend any one take them into combat until the DEV removes the premedeath as holocron has promised in his post on STRATICS. The DEVs should also unnerf them and allow them to be effecint machines! the basic lvl 15 creature has more ham dosse more damage and is useually be purchased for less than the cost of construction of the ADV Probot. They are handy as for as holding the food crafting station, and the Med 6 modules so you can heal with bonuses while out side running around. Being the toughest droid on the market they should be usefull, and they tend to last abit longer than an R2, but if you keep them out of combat you will keep them for a while. As for as repairing the droids when they get into battles they recive wounds just like anything else. they can regenerat the damage but you have to find someonf with a droid that has the droid repair tool onbaord and ask him/her/it to repair the black bars.

Allmost all the droids i sell have this modules on board so they should not be too hard to find.
