Thread: FACTORY free re-deed is it in yet?!?!
I thought it said in the update that Factory re-deed is free - I just did this and it took 3k credits from my factory (good thing I didn't trust it) - WHAT THE F?!?!

Anyway - anyone else having this experience?? It says in the update that redeeding is now free - but I definitely got charged. Were they mistaken in the update???
While I agree that the statement about factory redeed costs was incorrect (or jumping the gun), your complaint about harvesters is unwarranted.
The simple fact is, redeeding costs were *never* suppoed to be removed from harvesters, it's just that now it won't cost any MORE than the redeed cost, because when you place the deed back down, it still has all the power and any maintenance you might have had in it OVER AND ABOVE the redeed cost.
The people who "foolishly trusted the devs" and lost their factories actually foolishly ignored the text saying "you must have 2500 in your maintenance pool to reclaim." That message is still there - I tested it earlier. Sorry, but anyone at a point where they can buy and use a factory *and* know about the factory redeeding thing *should* also know better than to trust that a fix is actually fixed. Anything else is just hopeless naivete.
Though, yeah, it sucks that they didn't fix what they thought they fixed.

Aye, Droid_Engineer_Rhois correct about the harvesters (and I'm totally cool with their still being a redeed fee - and totally love that the excess cash/power remains).
The factory issue is really f-ed up. People that have foolishly trusted the dev's by redeeding their factories without a 2500c cushion are losing their factories. This is unacceptable.
Hopefully this gets remedied soon.
