I posted a link to Q3PO's post on THIS board, the one created August 15. I pointed out that it could have been written yesterday. It was locked and deleted immediately, and I got this PM:

If you have a discussable point that is not a rant, construcive and that effects everyone in general please feel free to make a post on the SWG Discussion forum. If you just want to post a link to be "smart" then it will be deleted again. IT is BEST if you go to your profession forum and talk to the current Correspondent to get any issues you may have with a profession heard.

OK, we've tried this route, and look where it's gotten us. Even the board mods are feeding us BS.

No, I'm stopping rants, and I'll do it on this forum too, if you have a concern and actually make a post with a discussion in it, it is not deleted or locked, if you just make a post to try to incite some sort of "outcry" and rand/flaming of the devs it will be deleted, locked.

We've tried the constructive route. It's gotten a big fat nothing. It seems rants/outcry is the only way for the devs to understand how upset we are. It's worked for other professions, we just want to be heard.

I believe DE's have the best correspondent there has been since the program came out... If you can make her snap like this, something is wrong.

This is getting old. How about directing some developers to our posts instead of deleting them? Then maybe we wouldn't be so upset.

I would suggest you read the latest post from the Droid Engineering Correspondent. Then explain to me why that one has not been locked and/or deleted?

Actually, the posts from the developers remind me of this episode of "The Simpsons", where Homer went to the Duff beer brewery.

The guy giving the tour was going on and on about the flavors they had, and said something about "And wait till you see what we have up our sleeves!".

So Homer asked, insistently, what they were planning.

Haha. The DEVs and their represenatives never fail to bring a smile to my face. Not only do they NOT listen to us, but they also have the nerve to come in here asking us to be "constructive" after we have been trying to be constructive for months. If the DEVs would actually LISTEN to us, maybe we would not have to resort to rants.

I decided to post a message on the SWG forum saying that locking or deleting the posts and not even a "we're looking at it" was just angering the DE's more. That it seemed like it was no longer sufficient to merely ignore DE's, but that it gave the appearance that it was now an effort to silence them. I also mentioned that I didn't think this was true, but that it was a perception.

Bet you can guess what happened. It was deleted. This is the response I got in Private Mail from Garva:

Hello

for the type of message you just posed you need to use PM's not post (since they will be deleted) the de's are being replied to and anyone who was locked/or deleted got a reason.

I voiced my opinion about an hour ago. I cancelled my second account. The one that was destined to DE.

If the game did not have so many problems there would not be so many rants and flames towards the devs on the forums. I think it goes to show how bad of a state the game is in when everyone is being ignored. If you were to actualy listen to us insted of just close our theads and anger us we might act a little more civil. Any ranting and raving on our parts is deserved, if the devs, and the poeple working for SOE cant get their act strait they deserve to have outraged players.
