Thread: Yay, crafting station modules nerfed
Go to whip together an advanced surgical droid for a friend, have the chassis premade, was just ready to fit the parts she requested together, when I notice that many of my schematics are missing. They are in the schematic section of my datapad, but I cannot make them while standing next to my trusty crafting droid. Level 5 and 6 armor, and every tier 4 and master DE droid are absent. Did this really merit toying with? People will buy houses simply because they are cool and immersive and a good place to store things, but now you *need* a house to be a crafter? Let alone the fact this nerfs us the worst of all because customizability is supposed to be one of the interesting features of droids. Now I have to buy a house with a crafting station then when someone asks me if I can make them an r2 unit per their specifications I have to go home to make it? This may be the nail in the coffin for me, my only real aim was to be a wandering droid salesman. I don't make much money at it but I enjoy interacting with customers and its fun to have an excuse to travel around.

No, I charged the droid up and tried again, even made a quick MSE with a much higher quality weapon crafting station module with 90 percent effective quality, no luck. If the station didn't work at all I would not be seeing food+chem crafting modules and many other schematics which I am still seeing, and I was able to do full experimentation on the things I made. If I messed up somehow I'll be ecstatic, so please give me feedback on whether this seems to be working for you all or not.

I must be bugged somehow then, very strange. I went up to a pulbic crafting station with my droid stored, and had the same list of schematics, then I went out of range of it and got even less. Then I took my droid out again, and only got the public crafting schematics, not the private ones. Since I made a new MSE Droid with a weapon crafting station to test it out, it must be a bug with me, not the droids

I'm a doc, last night in the outpost I could make high level schematics using my droid. Today, the schematics are not visible while I am in my house using the droid, i charged it up (twice), but schematics I could see last night i can't see now. Have the droids been nerfed? Or am I bugged?
These are wound pack C's and above, Stimpack D's and above. my med use is high, the droid is 110.
Argh, I love my droid, and I weep for the DE's.... but now stealth nerfs????
Yup - I'm with Jedi.
Yesterday used my droid to craft no problem after patch. This morning after a small "hot fix patch" nothing. Tried a number of configurations, grouped, not, in house, out, recharged, etc.. Nothing. Came here to see if you all knew something about it.

Yep... Seems like droid crafting stations got "hotbroke"... Seems as if they're nothing more than public crafting stations now, not private ones... I know it's not just me, because my first customer of the day complained about it too... Imagine my embarassment when I had to apologise (yet again) for the state of my chosen profession.

MAN this is irritating.
Okay, I'm just about done with this whole business.
I think I'm going to join the bleating sheep and become a CH-pistoleer. And if that ever gets nerfed into un-funness, I'll just follow the other 1337 doods to whatever other class the devs want me to be.
Might as well become Imperial too, so I can get a non-animal combat pet that works.
