Thread: Now that experimentation should work how will it affect the outcome ?
A probably stupid question, I apologize if its somewhere here on the board. If so, just give me the link to the thread pls.
Now, that experimentation is said to work, how does it affect the final product ? 2 lvl4-medical modules still make a 110%-medical. So does it only affect the decay of the droid in general ? And the quality of the parts only affect the general quality of the final droid ?
Thanks in advance.

Due to the caps that have been placed on module function and the HAM/damage values, experimentation does not have much of an effect on a droid, or most of its sub-components.Jenden's value of a 1 to 2% increaseis a bit higher than the actual increase of 0.2 to 1.2%.I made an AdvancedProbot with 827 HAM yesterday morning, with almost all of the components having a Mechanical Rating of 12 and resources that were generally 920+; however the actual HAM of the Probot is still only 820.
The level based modules are the only items that actually benefit from the higher Experiementation rates.
What do you mean by "level based modules benefit from higher experimentation rates" ? How do they benefit ?
Level Based Modules include the Medical Module, Data Storage Module, and Item Storage Mdoule. With Experimentation, the Module rating, not to be confused with the Mechanical rating, can be increased. You can increase the Module rating, but the increased rate only really effects the stacking.

This chart works for all of the level based modules, even though it only lists Item Storage. I was just lazy and cut and pasted it from a previous post.![]()
