Thread: Suggestion for Binary Loader
I have a suggestion for Binary Loaders. I realize that it would take a bit of work on the part of the devs but I think it would be a really nice improvement to a droid tha currently can't do a thing except look big.
Add 100 units of Inventory storage to the Binary Loader, or give it slots for enough Inventory modules so that it can hold that much. In order to keep it's large carrying capacity from being exploited, give it the following limitations:
- The Binary Loader can't be stored while it has items in it. If you log out with it unstored, it will still be where you last left it when you log back in. The Loader you have called out counts against the maximum number of droids you can have out, which is currently one.
- The Binary Load Lifter stops in it's tracks if it is out of charge and carrying stuff. If it has no inventory it acts like any other droid that is low on charge.
This will make the Binary Load lifter really useful for people that are moving their residence, especially if they have to unload and move a vendor or two. It will provide a great deal more storage if the owner is willing to use up his only droid slot that way all the time, but you could apply decay over time and charge depletion while logged out as ways to help control that.
The number of inventory items might also be adjusted, but anything less than the inventory of a small house seems too small.
