Well, here we are, the end of Janurary and still no patch that we were so delightfully promised. No new droids whatsoever. I have been logging into the boards almost every three days now anxiously awaiting the release of the droid publish. Now SOE is claiming we want something totally different. No, I wanted more droids, not another 6 month wait to the next DE publish. I have been with DE ever since the game hit the market on the very first day. We DE's have been promised and promised our patch was coming. We were promised it would release last year. That never happened. Now we're not going to get the patch on time again. What a surprise. Maybe this was why Star Wars Galaxies was a nominee as the most disappointing game of 2003. SOE is just lucky it wasn't the finalist for the category. I am NOT waiting for the next publish. I will be waiting until January 31st at the latest. I have kept my account until this point clinging to the last hope that SOE would actually help DE's. It seems like every time we're promised something, it ends up they can't meet it and want to delay the publish by about 2 months. And the same thing happens again. It's a vicious cycle. I encourage everyone who was anxiously awaiting this publish to close their accounts. If you keep waiting, they'll keep you waiting because they're not losing much DE population. Maybe they'll make some significant changes once they wake up and see that almost all of the DE population is gone. If you're going to promise something to the customer, then at least follow through.
