Hello everyone-

I am new to the DE profession but not SWG.

I am a novice DE and I'm looking up the schematic tree and wonder if the following things are real or how you make or where you buy them?

General Droid Module Socket Cluster

Droid Defensive Module Harness

Droid Service Module Harness

All of these are listed as (Optional) on the schematics, so I'm wondering if they are pieces you loot.

Droid Defensive Module Harness is where the Droid Armor Modules go, at Novice you should have the level 1 armor module...

Droid Service Module Harness is where you put any of the "service modules"--Data, Item Storage, Medical, Repair, etc... At novice, you will have the level 1 service modules..

General socket clusters are clusters that you put 3 service modules in, you will acquire the schematic for these later.

No.

There are 3 types of "slots" you can put modules in.
The def. module harness takes armor modules (only).
The service module harness takes normal modules.
The cluster socket takes clusters, these are items you craft. You can fit 3 normal modules in a cluster, then put that cluster in the appropriate socket.

Has anyone ever noticed you can put Cluster Sockets in Cluster Sockets? HAHA..

I was just grinding for xp, and though I know the game caps a med droid at 110, I got 1 General Droid Socket Cluster up to Medical 623 before it finally failed on an assembly. Was hilarious.

Yes. This is a known issue and exploit that I think will be fixed with either the next publish or the one after that....
