Thread: /draws pistol and shoots DE horse
I've completely given up any hope that DE's will ever be a viable profession in this game. My MDE is actually a glorified miner. I have an alt on a second account that I started for my sons (and the 10 lots 
) , but lately I've been playingmy alt more than my MDE. Harvester runs, store management, and making things for my alt, when he needs them, is all Graf has been doing. The thrill I used to get thinking about building and using droids is gone. If this profession was a horse, I'd shoot it.
Once my sons tire of their characters and this game, I will cancel both accounts and move on. that should be in about a month or 2 yet. They'll get interested in the next FPS xbox game or whatever. And I'll move on to a different MMORPG that I can enjoy again. Lineage 2 looks promising.
I've kept at this game because it had promise. It could have been so much more.
I fear this is where my account is headed as well.
It's been 7 months since launch, and our profession is every bit as pathetic now as it was then. Absolutely nothing has been done with the volumes of "feedback" we've given the devs, and it is sickening. Droids make Star Wars, not pets, yet the Devs have spent so much time with CH and BE, while utterly ignoring the "StarWarsy" classes like Smuggler and DE.
Bleh.
