Thread: LucasArts' new marketing site: where are the droid engineers?

The new LucasArts site doesn't mention our poor profession at all, as far as I could see.
In their "create" popup it talks about general things, weapons, armor, tools -- but not droids. In their profession description for Artisan, it says you can become a weaponsmith, armorsmith -- not DE.
Whlie Chefs and Tailors should rightfully be upset too, it would seem like Star Wars is all about droids, and droid crafting, droid use or droid engineers should have been mentioned...

And yes, there ARE no droid engineers, because there are no droids. There are mobile crafting stations and attack pets that got the wrong model attached to them, but no droids.

Maybe this is a sign...
...like when they change the locks and nobody tells you...
Droid Engineers? Nope. No Droid Engineers around this galaxy... you must be mistaken.
Droid Engineers? Please! We dont mention THEIR name anymore. It's not polite.
Droid Engineers? Ah, Droid Engineers...Droid Engineers...now that's a name I've not heard in a long time... a long time...
