So i got this today from the Imperial Themepark. I thought that it was pretty cool for the DE community to get a nice new item. The item has to be used by a novice tailor and then he/she can craft the "tool kit". The schematic has 5 uses so 5 of themcan be made from it.I wish i could tell you what the mods on the thing were but i cant because of the requirements.... I'm stumped. I was hoping you guys could help me.
It requires some non ferrous metal (no prob), a droid repair kit (Easy to get), a Cargo Pocket (Field wear 1 in tailoring, so no problem) and then the part i'm confused on...
2 Identical Heavy Duty Clasps from a factory crate....
I can't find "Heavy Duty Clasps" *ANYWHERE*. If anyone know who can make me those, Please let me know.
Thanks.

heavy duty clasps sound like a tailor item, though didn't they take droid repair kits out of the skill tree?

Oh, it is one of those...lol.
Usually the schematic tells you at the bottom of the information the description on what it does. (in the crafting window, bottom right, it tells you what is required to put in. Scroll to the bottom of that. Is there a description?)
As far as the clamps...perhaps those are an items similar to the supernatural idea of No one knowing truely what the certification requirement is for a Rebel Blaster. It's cert. can not be found anywhere on the skills tree. I was able to use it as a novice marksman. A buddy of mine wasn't able to use it until he had Pistols 2 in the marksman tree.
I would suggest searching for an Armorsmith and/or a Tailor & asking them if they know what it is.

Check your artisan schematics. I remember having made some sort of clamp when doing the artisan clothing tree. But dont recall them being called "Heavy Duty".

Um... weren't these removed from the game in patch 5? I still have one, but that's only because I'm keeping it as a memento. They never worked so the Devs just removed 'em.
Or did they put them back in with this patch?

I can only assume that this revolves around the Tailor making this item. So find a Master Tailor in game and see what they say.

Or you can take a shuttle over to the Tailor forum.
Although, there will be a supplimental 100 credit fee to the SOE Galactid Travel Commission.
Would you like 1-way or Round-trip? ![]()

I've yet to find a tailor or anyone who can identify what Heavy Duty Clasps are

Update: According to this TC bug thread http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=TestCenter&message.id=59650&highlight=heavy+duty+clasps#M59650. The clasps are new loot drops. Sometimes NPCs will drop singles, doubles or even schematics. Guess i'll start looking. If i get this belt made, i'll let you guys all know.
