I think a new droid that will help the galactic civil war --
It is a droid that will send a mail to a mailing list of 5 players if it is attacked.
It will be a stationary part of a base -- placed much like a turret., It should notify the mailing list once say the terminal is hacked, so it will not call them if it is just busy fighting.
this will add to the galactic civil war, they will be destroyable, so it will be a constant droid we will need to make,
Defending bases at odd hours is tough work, with some players not online, aliances set in other cities, and -- it is kind of odd that a system of some sort is not in place to call for backup from npc's.
A droid is the perfect way to ovecome this.

Not a bad idea, but I think there would be complications:
Which players does it email at what times of the day or night? Different players have different playing hours; will you have to set up more "Help!" droids for use at different times of the day or night?
What if all 5 players that it emails are offline, due to sleep, school, work, vacation, whatever? Do they just get notified when they get back online that their terminal was hacked at 0X:30 AM, and sorry You weren't there? :->
