A combat capable socket cluster is the cluster you use in combat capable droids. It accepts Combat or Non-Combat modules. Unfortunately, it is a requirement to use them and the extra droid brain, even in a combat capable droid, even if it is not going to fight.

Seekers and Arakyds are both used by Bounty Hunters. One tells the location of the Mark, the other the planet, but I'll be darned if I remember which is which.

All you need to know about storage modules is right here:

Arakyd is used frst to tell BH the planetfor the mark, then once on that planet Seekers are used to pinpoint the current location.

Mind you, I'm still working on DE (taking a break from working up WS - all that steel!) ... Currently 3004DE (Compared to 3124WS)

Seekers and Arkady Probe droids are used by Bounty Hunters as theyInvestigate ...

Seekers - Investigate1~2- Same Planet Hunt

Probe Droids- Investigate 2~4- Off-Planet Hunt

I could be wrong on usage by BH (My original plan was to be a BH, one camp and Master Scout short when I changed to become a crafter... Darn EQ Crafting bug bit me here too!)

Bah, would hit enter when I forgot something... Forum seems a little slow and have to relogin...

aaaanyway...

When making Seekers and Probe droids, they will come in stack of 5s I believe each. If you drop them in the room, Seekers float, Probes fall to the floor.

If you plan to sell, have it mixed. Have some in crates (25) and some as individuals. Like with the MSE, these two little things are easy to sell and don't come with fruity flavours (ie, options) like the MSE, DZ70 and such...

To get an idea of what can be added to a droid, features and such... Try this site...

The big thing to remember about the cluster modules is that the main droids (R3's, R2 etc) take combat clusters even if you place no combat modules inside them. When the publish change happened a lot of us were left with general clusters that contained various modules that could no longer be put in our biggest selling droids (HINT HINT Devs )

Don't get caught out by this. As a general rule evrything higher up the chain uses combat clusters regardless of the functionality of the modules.
