Hello everyone I'm a new Droid Engineer and wanted to ask you all a quick question... I've been having difficulty getting an answer in game so I figured I'd take my question to the forums.
I need to find extrusive ore... but for the life of me I can't find it anywhere. I'm on the Sunrunner server and have checked countless vendors to no avail. I've also surveyed but can only find corbonate ore and not extrusive. Is there something I'm doing wrong.
Any feedback would be most appreciated.

I am grinding DE right now and am running into the same issue. What I did was clear out most of my lots and am harvesting it myself. This does 2 things:
1) makes sure I get exactly what I want without worrying about if a supplier has it.
2) costs much less to run extractors than it does to buy it.

Oh and as far as finding the resources, go to swgcraft.com. That will tell you what the current spawn is on each planet.

Agree... swgcraft.com is the perfect resource tool. I find that harvesting my own minerals is preferable to trying to buy them - both from a cost and convenience standpoint. As a DE, you can probably get by with medium harvesters too, rather than the heavies, but that's a matter of preference. I suggest you search out a competent Architect vendor and pick up some harvs...or make your own personal harvesters. The alternate option is to partner with a reliable miner, perhaps offering nice maintenance/bodyguard/storage droids to them when you get to that point.
There is a pretty solid spawn of Extusive Ore right now on Chilastra, but I'm not sure how it is on your server... although I bet swgcraft.com can tell you

BTW you'll need around 12k extrusive to get from Blueprints 1 to 2. This will help you when your trying to decide how much to find.
Im so happy on Bloodfin we just got a lidium Extrusive spawn. So level 6 storage modules are in my future after i re-master DE

Resource's go in and out of "spawns" during these times you can mine the resource. You will not always find the resource you are looking for, specific resources may take alot of patience to wait for and then mine them.

Goodluck with finding Lidium Extrusive ore. Thats what yo need for Lvl 6 storage Mods. I have been rationoing my 60k stack for about 4 months now.
