Thread: When did the nerf being able to ignore spam-bots??

This used to work but now it doesnt.. Spam has got to be the biggest thing that i hate about this game. i must add 5 people a day atleast to my ignore list.. If they didnt spam every 5 secs it wouldnt be soo bad. once every 5 mins i have no problem with. But these spam bots are really pissing me off. If one was sitting at the bazzar sqaure i would have no problem with it. But people sitting them at the launch pad or in a cantina just plan sucks.
SOE please fix this it used to work.. why you broke it is beyond me

Are you talking about the option to ignore AFK players in the options screen?
If thats the case, I've noticed alot of the AFK spammers are not actually AFK. (ie. no afk tag above their head)
They use emote and action macros (like blink, sit, stand...etc) to avoid the auto-AFK. That my be why it seems like its not working anymore imo.

No im talking the Add ignore list.. It used to work you ignored the owner and it shut the droid up. It doesnt work anymore

Personaly I'd rather see them let spam bots be (at least they take skillpoints to use) and fix the afk spammers (take out recursive macros).
