For the amount of DE's that there are, I don't think those would sell to well. Most have been surviving this long got fed up and went master artisian, or has a steady buyer. But the crates probably would sell. I don't think to fast though

I agree with you. I only went Master Artisan because I hated bugging a former guildmate about making me Schems all the time (I'm at the point where I'm going through about 1000 or so a week right now). Maybe if you talked to enough DE's on your server who are currently Master Artisan for this reason and work out a deal with them to supply them with a set quantity per week or per month that would allow them to free up Skill Points for something else.
They may want some kind of guarentee about how long you plan on staying around in the game. nothing would suck more than arranging something like this and then having the person drop out of the game 2 or 3 weeks later after you dropped the Artisan skills.
Their have been times when I have been relieved to find the artisan components I needed on a vendor, even though I am a Master Artisan myself.
I think it could work but:
1) You will have to be patient, it will take awhile to build a customer base. DE’s will be slow to trust you to supply them with components they could make themselves.
2) You will need to advertise well, give your vendors very clear names, and if possible, place them near droid vendors, to catch the DE’s attention.
3) KEEP THEM WELL STOCKED, this is most important to build the trust you need from your potential clients, after all you are really only selling a convenience since they can make these things themselves. It is also a good idea to label factory runs. IE: "Control Unit (Factroy Run 12)"

I have been a master architect and will be dropping it but still want to craft. I am keeping master artisan. I was thinking of mass producing artisan sub componets for other crafters; do you think they would sell well? i can toss down 6 factories and pump them out like mad....Let me know what u think....
It might work, i guess it will just need some time until you are established in the business, means do much advertising, and stock your vendors beforehand.
Somethings you might want to do is:
1. add the SerialNo. to the beginning of your Manufacturing Schematic
2. Add the experientation percentage in some way, either to the backpack in which you are selling or direct to the Schem.
3. Use a similar Name for all Factory runs (and backpacks) like "1000 EMM [qwertz123] [92%]" for the backpack and "[qwertz123] EMM" for the Items.
