I'm a new Droid Engineer on Corbantis, and I have a question about the Medical Modules (level 1):
Is 55 a good Medical Rating in an MSE Droid?

No, the Level 6 Medical Module provides the highest level. Each module has a rateing and by adding up the rateings you can reach the max. So you can use 1 level 6, or maybe 2 level 4's, ect... But the rateing from a level 6 is the max and even if you have 6 level 6's, you can't go beyond that.

you'll want the droids med use to be 110 that's all the doc's will want

Well the 110 med rating is what the Master Doc who is buffing needs,do not forget the new Doc is just needs a droid to heal peeps on their way to Master. A MSE with a low rating at a modest price will be for them. Who knows maybe when they hit Master they wil come back to you for that 110 rated droid.

Some fare comments.. Med rating is a % rating for medical use.
Therefore with you lv 1 modules at 55, a medics heals will on be 55% effective.
A lvl 6 module give 110% therefore the heals are better..(med centres are rated as 100)
Modules stack using this formula (mod lvX + mod lv Y -1)

it's a good idea to make some cheap 55's and sell them at a reasonable price on the bazaar for a nice cheap price. A lot of people say there's no money in it, but it's always a good idea to keep a stock of low level merchandise to help people out who don't have a lot of credits or a good understanding. You'll find the people will remember who they bought their first droids and other gear from, and when they come into their own they might just bring you with them. Word of mouth is the best form of advertisement a DE can get. Even as a Master I'll still help out people with lower level equipment, as it's worthless to me, and priceless to them.
