Thread: Where can I buy Composite Armor Segments (Kauri)?

I bought 100 off a Master Armorsmith a while back, but that stock is starting to dwindle. Anyone know where I can buy a few crates on Kauri ?

find a master armorsmith, give him some good steel you have a lot of, and then let him make a schematic for you. thats what i did

I asked the same question on the Kauri boards and suggested a schematic, but someone said I needed Krayt Tissue to make composite armor segments? I have no idea where I would get Krayt Tissue, I can barely kill a mutant womp rat.

no you dont. Composite segment uses steel. ITs base segment and quality of segment doesnt make any diff what so ever. Tested all the theories, the cheapest works as good as the best.

Thanks, I finally got someone to make me some. No idea where the person on the Kauri board got the Krayt Tissue stuff from. I was about to have a brain fart over that.
A friendly armor smith made me 3 schematics of 1000 each, which should last me a while. Cost me a loaded R2 unit with Armor Craft, but I was happy to oblige and get this quest over with.
