Thread: Droid Durability?
It just another screwed up DE thing. You're doing nothing wrong.
If you see any experimentation catagory that is at 0%, don't bother wasting points on it, it'll never get above 0%. Same scenario as if you had gotten a crit failure in experimenting.
Best I can figure is that the devs didn't plug any resource attributes into the durability catagory, so the formula has nothing to work with and gives a 0%.
Durability used to be experimental, but a few patches ago they took it out because they dont decay. Why they didnt remove it from the crafting all together like tailor experimenting, I dont know. Hopefully its because one day it will serve a function. In most cases effectiveness=ham and quality=damage (on test center I think this is in) but duribility......hopefully makes a difference on resistances one day.
Oh, so that is why my probots always seem to come out 819. I have been putting most of my exp points in Experimental Quality, not Effectiveness.
Thanks Laffite.

Unfortunately (as of right now) you can experiment a probot's ham up to 830, but once you tame it it drops to the default which i think is ~810 for basics and ~820 for adv probots. I think someone mentioned this was changed on TC right now, at least the damage was. Hopefully the change is retroactive, otherwise all current probots will be obsolete.
Cool... thank you guys so much for that info... At least I know I'm not trying to sell sub-standard droids, now (well sorta) =)
I was just wondering if it is normal for the durability of any Droid item to always be 0%? I use good materials to make all of my droids, but the durability is always 0% and no amount of experimentation will change it. I looked around a little, but have been unable to find anything on this. So, if it's just another one of those screwed up things that DE's have to live with, that's cool. But if it is something I am doing wrong, I'd sure like to know! Thanks!
