According to SOE, we all LOVE grouping and doing everything in groups. It shouldn't be a problem because of course we'll always have someone in our group with scout skills.

We have medical droids so we can heal without hospitals, but we have to bring a camp out to get the droid out anyways...so you may as well just heal in the camp

With the MDE title behind me and very fast vehicles on the horizon, I'm looking to maximize my skillset. I'd like to free up my 30 points wasted in the Scout profession skilltree since I'll not be needing terrain negotiation any longer. Here's my problem, however.

If I did that, I think I'll also lose the ability to build camps. Camps are currently required to pull a droid out of the datapad, unless you're in a city or near your residence. I think this is incredibly moronic and it's hindering the growth of my character.

Does anyone know if they're going to revamp this system for Droids? There is a (slight) semblence of logic for keeping this system for creature pets, but I can't see any reason why Droids should be limited in this manner. Droids should be able to be pulled anywhere and everywhere....

Thoughts?

I couldn't agree more... I think it is completly insane that we are basically required to have skills from the scout profession to even use our droids.
