Thread: Are droids supposed to require recharging every couple hours?

Cause if they arn't my droids are all fubar power addicts.

And if they are then doesn't this kinda kill a droids utility? Constantly having to recharge the bloody thing gets wearing after a while. Maby it's a neccessary money sink or something, but I'd much rather pay 5000 credits for a weeks power rather then pay 25 credits for 2 hours.

I've been thinking of using my probebot as a bodyguard (the town kooks kick my ass and then deathblow me every time I run by), but if I have to recharge it constantly and then when I do need it, it of course will be uncharged, well then droids are kinda useless to me then .

Heck, I make my own batteries by the crate, but the constant recharging is just one big hassle .

Normal?

I wish MY droids would last two hours between charges. For my probot and my R2 at least, it's more like 15 to 20 minutes, and FEELS like it's every 12 seconds.

Taking a well-deserved vacation from his successful Droid Engineering business, Master Rho can be found puttering around the galaxy.
