Ive read a lot lately about this supposed bug... but I have no idea what is all this about. Could someone explain it to me, please?

It's simple.
There's a thing called a 'General Droid Module Socket Cluster', which is called for by a few of the higher-end droid types. This cluster holds three functional modules.
The essential fact is this: Cluster modules fit into general socket types, so *any* droid that accepts functional modules can be outfitted with socket type modules, thus multiplying the available installed equipment, and making lower-end droids much more useful. Compounding this is that Cluster modules, since they fit into general sockets, fit into cluster modules, and so one can create a single cluster module with all possible functional bits, and stick it into a basic MSE6 mouse droid.
It's a very poor design, described poorly in the (limited) literature we have, and disputed hotly as to whether it's an exploit or not within the community. I fall on the side of exploit, as it ruins the natural progression of droid abilities as you advance through the chassis designs.
