Thread: My new character... Please read and give insite.
First of all, thank you for taking the time to read this!
I finished off my first character in SWG and am starting my next one. This one is going to be a MDE! That is all I know so far. DE, for me anyway, really is the best SW type profession. The only other one that really goes strong is BH, but I am just nota PvP type person. (I don't consider Jedi to be a profession, that is separate to my line of thinking) So, I am not here because a Holo told me to come or anything like that. I will be reading a lot in this forum and other links I find here too.
So, my first question is about what professions go with DE to make it more well rounded and fun. Or, at least less frustrating. Right now I have Exploring 4 and Survival 1 so I can run well and make a camp if I need to, Pistols 4 so I can at least shoot something well and Ranged Support 3 (not to 4 yet) so I can hit what I am aiming at. Other then that, I am now working Survey up to 4 so I can find resources well.
I sort of want to do Arch with this too. I think it would be pretty cool to be able to build your own harvesters and stuff. I kinda like being self reliant, and on this new server, I only have1 friend, so not a lot of support.
By the way, is anyone else having a really frustrating bug with making stuff? I am practice making generic crafting tools to get through Engineering. When the first crafting station session ends, it also ends all the other active crafting sessions! The only thing I have found to do is to only use 2 crafting stations. I get the first one going and I have to have the next one finished (submit the job to the hopper) before the first station session ends. Then I have to wait for the 2nd one to completely finish before I can start again. Whenever I start the 3rd one, I run out of time in the middle of the submission and I lose all 3 jobs.
Anyway, thank you for your time!
If you're serious about Droid Engineer & Architect, I would strongly suggest Master Artisan as well. This will save you a lot of time & money in the long run with buying master artisan only components.
