Thread: How to figure a selling price for droids?
I'll let you in on a wee secret flower, although many posters are about to give you their pearls of wisdom gleaned from months of DE'ing; ideas based around the multiplication factor's due to factory runs; increased pricing via use of named or rare or both resources; marking up not based on the droid at all but on the value the resources could fetch on the boards and of course pointers to existing guides available in the stickies with custom droid configurators such as deadfish.com.
When it comes down to it though honey, you were bang on with your second shot, you chuck it out and see how it goes. Personally, I charge quite high so I don't have to be constantly running from home to vendor and I bring the prices down if something just isn't shifting. You'll be hard pushed to find better advice than that... IMHO

well, this is a tough one as server prices vary i try to be fair not too cheap and not too expensive when i first started i used the pricing guide on www.undeadfish.com was a handy tool but then i found my feet you sorta find out which droids you can up a little and which need to come down...
but there is a little trick to makin customers happy ..for all my email droid orders i will create a backpack and pop the droid in with a few batterys and a repair kit...sort of an aftersales service..as then i can pop the backpack on to the vendor and send the mail tellin customer that there droid is complete and read for collection ...
People will pay what yu want for your droids but BE FAIR !! combat droids for 110k thats not really fair but i have seen them sale for that.
