I haven't really decided, I have about 30 old Probots on my vendors. Two sold yesterday. I'll probably pull them down and put them back up for 1/2 price and /tip refunds to the two customers that bought the old ones at full price.

I have 60 droids sitting in my Stock room right now and another 20 or so on my vendor for half price. I've sold 2 of the half price droids in the last 2 days, so it looks like I'll probably be destroying my old stock or possibly just giving it away.

Then again, instead of destroying it I might as well mark 'em all down to 75% off or something. Might as well get *some* return on the investment.

Clearance Sale on Patch 7 Combat Probots! 15k! Get 'em while you can! /sigh

Another option: Droid Deeds can be dropped in houses now for furniture/roleplay. Move them over to your "decorative chassis" vendor and sell at a discount to recoup some cost (maybe charge a bit more than a true chassis and make sure to put in the sales description that this can be readied as a finished droid if desired)

I only made combat droids in Publish 7 for custom orders. I knew deep that something with the combat droids were going to change come publish 8. I didn't want to sit on the inventory after publish 8 came out. So, I primarily focused on building Utility Driods and Chassis in preparation for Publish 8. Then when it was announced the Combat droids would change, I didn't sell any combat droids to people. I told them to wait until Publish 8 came out cause they would be wasting their money if they bought a Publish 7 Combat Droid.

I'm just destroying some stuff, other things I'm marking down for awhile and see what happens.

I had let stock dwindle before patch day. On that day I had someone hit my vendor before I could pull off what was left. So I contacted them, made them new droids, told them to keep the old ones if they want, then destroyed the remaining stock. I figured, why bother? Nobody wants to pay for an old droid (they were all combat models), in my opinion. Credits are quite plentiful in this game.
