Thread: Exploding droid damage question.

Ok we've pretty much established about how much damage these guys do. From my calculation I figure about 150 damage per point of the detonation rating.
I was talking to a BH friend of mine about them and he's curious about what kind of AP they do and what damage type.
Anyone have any clues about this?

Good question and I've been curious myself. I'm not sure the AP or type of damage has been confirmed yet. Haven't seen anything about it at all on these boards. The caluculation you made above, can you point me to the thread that tells us how to calculate it as I must have missed it.

Judging from what I've seen its AP0 blast damage. When I was testing them on TC I got a pretty good range of resists tested againstwhile I was having someone blow up rebel troopers at a base. Definately seemed to be blast AP0.

I was calculating that from my own data.
The ones that I have used do about 5-6k damage.
And I remember reading that the R3's did from around 8.6k to 9.6k damage.
So. Mine have been averaging about 5500 damage at a rating of 38.
And the R3's (from TC reports) at 9000 damage at a rating of around 60.
Thats 144 per point on the MSE, and 150 per point on the R3. So I rounded up to a straight 150.

I am pretty sure the damage is blast also. We ran an R3 against a turret and it did 50k of damage.
