im currently a novice droid eng and i cant really make much especially since corellia doesnt supply me with any inert gas....anyways, i was wondering how you use the different modules ? like if i craft a medical module, can i add that onto my mouse droid when i create the deed for the droid ? or do i get optional slots to put the modules in when i create higher droids at a later level ?

Modules go into the service module harness optional slots in the droid schematic while you're assembling the droid.

Im going to post this in the DE forum also, but i just picked up my ent droid and had it custom made with 2 recording modules. I figured i could record 2 different instruments, and play a third while the droid played back the other 2. Thiis way i would always have a trio when i played. I recorded my 2 tracks and tried to play them both. Nothing.....
Im digging my "band in a box", but if you could play multiple modules at once. It would be very good for solo travelling. Is there a way that this can be done?

No, you can only play one track at a time. The advantage to multiple tracks is that if you are planning to perform several different songs back-to-back, you don't have to stop and make a new recording.. you can have it stored up already.

Is anyone else noticing that music playback drains the droids action? While effects, etc do not.
Doesn't seem right, given its all electronic.

Yes, i noticed it drains droid action, too.
That is extremely annoying. Know what else is annoying? How slow droid HAM heals. Know what's even more annoying than that? To get the droid to keep playing, you need tostop playing (requiring 15 seconds to start again), repair the droid's action, wait until you can start again, then start again and do it all over again when the droid's action runs out again.
Yeesh, who thought this was a good idea? I suggest the implementation of an entertainer playback power module that will keep the action from draining. same with the effects module - an entertainer's effects power module to prevent the droid battery from draining so fast.

I personally havent had a problem with the droid action thing. I played at a base raid yesterday for about 2 hours, and my droid didnt stop playing for me.
Playing multi tracks at the same time is kinda dissapointing for me. hopefully that can be addressed with an advanced module in the future.

The biggest problem with the HAM thing is that the poor little MSE is pooped after 8 flourishes. On the other hand, bigger droids I've never had a problem with even getting a dent in their HAM. If you are really worried, get two droids. Keep swapping them out. You'll lose them for a few flourishes, but one regenerating on the datapad should go as fast as the action on the one you took out. If anything it should be enough to last you an entire day's worth of playing even if it doesn't fully regen every time.

I can't get mine to play even the basic loop for more than one time tick. The one thing that made me tickled enough to get one, and I can't get it to work. /pout

Strange: my droid plays for hours, music and effects, and never seems to lose an ounce of Action or power. Er, am I doing something illegal?

Maybe I should add that my main music droid is an R3 droid. Do they have more Action or something? Then again, even my little MSE droid seems to do effects without losing Action. /puzzle /ponder

I have an R3 too. It only loses action when it flourishes (after I send it a bandflo). Do you see the green number float above its head, just like a normal player? My R3 loses so little action it's barely noticeable on the HAMbar, seems to heal it back pretty quick. My FX droid never loses action, but burns through the batteries.
