Thread: Ugh, just sunk 100k on a 4k ham droid which can't attack :(
Well, looks like you need to know a little more about what you're buying before you "buy off the rack", or off a vendor.
Make sure that the droid has combat modules in it if you want it to tank for you, i.e., attack. Although I can't imagine one advertised as a tank module not having them.
As a ranger, you could probably use either the trapping modules or harveting modules, or both, also, as mentioned by previous poster, but some rangers have reported this is slower than them doing the harvesting themselves. It seems the droid needs to be told to go harvest each corpse after each kill, unless you put in a macro for "attack, follow target, harvest" or something to that effect.
Find a "good" MDE and sit down and tell him/her exactly what you want, and you'll be happier than just trying to find one in a vendor.
