Okay I didn't really cry but I logged off. Okay so Archie's don't loose resources when they practice, whatabout us DE's?? I also think this could be applicable to AS/WS but I am not sure how complex their things are.
As a doc I get a crit fail maybe once every few MONTHS, I get fails whencrafting maybe once or twice a week like bad ones. With DE I get crit fails once every like 3 crafting sessions and fails a few times a week. What is the deal?? SAME quality tools/station etc..
I think we should request that it should not be possible to crit fail on a final build. I think it's understandable on a cluster (even though I would loose like up to 6 items) or on a chassis (again i would loose a lot of items) but on the FINAL BUILD?? Then I loose my clusters, my chassis.. etc.. it's insane.. like 40 items on the most advanced droids!!!!!!!!!!
I WANTED TO SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 It was my first stim bot it woulda been able to hold 100 stims with a 9 timer thingy I think that's what that is.
Also I noticd the timer stacks on the modules?? What does that mean?? Is it how many seconds it heals. I can't remember the name of that stat on the stim one. I heard somene made a droid that held 600 stims and healed in 2 seconds. Thats impossible from what I did last night, you would need 2 stim packs with 300 capacity and a 1 on the other stat to accomplish that.

I feel your pain, it happened to me last night, I lost an LE repair droid and I was so angry I also logged off. I remember the first day of the patch, sitting there with my crafting droid making personal orders and worrying that I would get a critical failure while the customer was waiting. The other night I had already built a BLL, and was choosing the colors for it (the very last stage), and was suddenly attacked by a spineflap. Bam, there goes my BLL.
Considering the complexity of a droid and all the sub-components that go into the final build, yes, I say no critical fails for a Master, at least on the final asembly.

Since publish 8, I have had at least 4 crit fails on final assembly of an ADV Droid. Really ticked me off! Gotta keep going though... The biggest thing I get pissed about losing are the ADV Driod Brains. THOSE ARE A PITA to build. Especially when you run factories. They suck up so many damn EMM and EGP modules...ugh...

Heh,my very first hand-built combat r3, 25 minutes and I was ready to combine and was really excited. So excited the thought of a critical didn't even cross my mind.

maybe they thought it would add a feeling of risk into the game, an excitment.. they thought wrong. It makes the game very not fun, makes me log off, makes me play less.

This that a crit fail is bad on making a final on a droid that your going to put on a vendor, or use your self? I've had a few times of the coustomer standing there as I make a coustom droid for them. *poof* "umm... It just went away....It's going to be a bit longer...." thats anoying.

Thankfully it was for personal use. I choose not to make droids on the fly while someone waits. Generally do batches of certain configurations and drop em on a vendor, and custom orders I do but I tell em I'll e-mail when its ready and give them the location to the shop.
I don't work well under pressure lol.

I critted on a BLL chasis. I know I know its only the chasis, but come on 6 Identicle Manipulator Arms and 2 Advance Motivators. Please note I was building one so I could put 3 detonation modules in it. So instead on me loosing 3500 resources I had to use 7000, by far the biggest waste of money but it is worth it

it was to put on my vendor, who cares when it happens, the fact that it happens stinks, regardless of who its for

Thats intresting. I had a coustomer stop by for more stuff yesterday. When I said that a friend of his had been by earlier, he said that he told the guy to see me for droids. The he also said the reason he's been sending people to me is I will talk to people face to face adn patently explain things that they dont understand. Are you guys not giving enough attention to your coustomers?

I'm quite happy to build them to order and answer questions. I just don't like doing it while they are sat there waiting, because I don't like keeping people waiting. Partly to do with how unorganised I am, so I like to make them in my own time.
