I have an R3 combat droid i brought ages ago, now made myself one. Works out but not as good as the one i brought. I see electric charge come out of the droid sometime as it fires, this a module or already built in?
Next question
I'm sure i read somewhere of someone put a certain module in a droid that would allow the droid to recharge itself via batteries that have been placed in it. Is this true and how would it be done.
Also whats the work around to stop people using the summon command on my Merchant Barker droid while i'm away doing other stuff?
Thanks

Your old R3 combat droid has a range toggle, but the program list is currently bugged and no new R3s can be programed to toggle to ranged (electric charge looking) attack. The old ones that have been programmed before the bug still work.
TK has said the devs are aware of it, but don't expect a fix anytime soon. Do a /bug in-game if you want to help out.

No such thing. Only way to recharge a droid is to have batteries in your main inventory and select recharge from the radial - or - someone else with a power (gonk) droid out might recharge it.

No one is doing anything to you or your droid. The droid will sometimes auto-store when it is left alone. There have been a few threads where DEs have voiced a complaint to the devs about this problem, along with the limited battery life of barking droids making them less valuable to a merchant than they should be.
Thanks
All good issues and all have been complained to devs at length by DEs. Hope that helps some.

The ranged attack on the advr3 combat models still works, as well as it ever did.. lol, the droid will basically decide itself which attack to use, i've never been able to have it do one over the other. This droid was made just 2 nights ago, and i was using it last night in just some general hunting around my house, and it would use both the lightning and the hammer attacks.

You obviously haven't experienced the summon exploit. Yes something is happened, as I've been there when they do it. They summon the droid and it then follows them everywhere. Taking it away from your advertising spot. Its getting seriously annoying. I've been told by CSR its a bug, the summon command was only meant to work on droids you own. Still is taking them to long to fix this very tiny, yet seriously annoying buy.

This is a problem. They should not be able to do this. Report harrassement to a CSR when it happens, tell them it is ruining your gameplay. They will get a warning about doing it.
