Ok a while back I posted an issue about how the factory crates I had been using to craft inside of my input hopper were no longer correctly filtered. Basically things that should work in the slots didn't. Well I discovered a temporary workaround. However. IT IS NOT PERMANENT. Anytime the the items in the building have to be reloaded everything reverts to working the way it was before the workaround.

Now for the workaround.(it's fairly simple)
Take all the crates out, and put them back in. done.

Granted you have to do this everytime you go far enough away or anything else that causes the items to be reloaded, so it kind of sucks. But I think I've narrowed down what the problem is. Now to get it fixed!

I hate this bug too. Taking out almost 100 crates and putting them back in is no fun at all. I sent in a CSR ticket about that several months ago, but no fix yet

Yea for just this reason i switched and now keep my precious special named resources in the hopper and my crates in a backpack. The bug does not occur with resources but a different bug does. when you click on resources that are in your hopper you do not get the little bar next to the slot showing quality. You have to actually load the resource to see the bar.

Now to decide which bug is worse. If I'd only have 50 crates I'd go with the backpack too, I think.

Ohhhh i did not mean by any stretch of the imagination that I only use 1 backpack. hehe 1 backpack...for our profession?!?
