I have recently brought myself a Droid with a structure maintainance module which i have used to maintain my factories but now (a few days later) i want to perform another maintainance run but everytime i select this option on my droid the menu wont appear is this just a bug or is the module just a single use module?

If you destroy a structure without taking it off the droid, it will lock up the maint droid module. Some people say that if you keep clicking it, many many times, it will eventually open.

You need to remove a structure from the droid before destroying it. This is a known issue, and the DE who sold you that droid should have told you about it.

I'm considering buying one of these thing too, and after reading the sticky on all things droid, I'm still a little unclear on what a PE Repair droid (with a building repair module) is going to do...

Is it supposed to take care of my buildings so I don't have to pay maintenance or do I feed it credits and it distributes them to all my buildings w/out me having to visit each of them in turn?

You tell it when to go, and how much to deposit. Basically all it does it stop you from having to go to the buildings.
