Hi,

I am curious if I canplace a merchant barker droid thatwas programmed by a Master Merchant? Will it work correctly?

Or perhaps a better way toset upthe question, is as follows:

I want to buy several droids with the Merchant Barker module and have one Master Merchant program the text and the waypoint. Then I wish to pass these on to several people so they can place them in strategic locations. Will the droids work correctly in this situation?

No, in order to activate the text portion of the barking you need Advertising IV. One can still retrieve the waypoint but you can't set the waypoint, program text or activate the droid to "bark" the text without Advertising IV.
