This is listed in the JTL page under Ships now, when you click on the Veteran Reward at the bottom:
The luxury yacht itself that will be made available to Galaxy citizens will be the pleasure model that does not have Lando's "special modifications. The ship will be invulnerable to attack, possess no weapon systems, sensor arrays, escape pods, droid brain etc.
So, while it may change (of course) it would appear the Droid Brains are going to be a component in starships.
Might be worth stocking up on them (we need them anyways), but it's pure speculation at this point. Additionally, it doesn't say if it's an ADV droid brain or not. But again, we need them anyways....

*laugh* ... And you mean we don't have to "stock up" on the currently? ....
I use up so many droid brains that it hurts. Every darn thing needs them. I really can't see why we need to have them in the millions in everything we make.

Damn, I hate knowing something and not being able to tell people 
I've had more people asking me to make them a droid in JTL than I have done for a very long time. I've spent most of the past 4 weeks in beta making R5's an not flying!

To clear up peoples ideas without breaking any NDA's.
Read the description of the Lady Luck for the vetern ship, you will see where the reference to "a Droid Brain" came from.
