I know this is a FS issue and not a DE issue, but this affects all crafters.

I'm not even going to get into whether I think a Lightsaber crafting tool is a good prize for the crafting quest, I don't thnik it is, but that's not the issue.

My issue is that the person who got the most turn-ins totalgot a 20 charge Lightsaber crafting tool. Yet somebody who led multiple categories only gets one tool that has 5 charges?

I wasn't trying to multiple prizes, I just wanted to ensure that I would win one prize at least. Yet now that the prizes are out, something just does not seem right.

Every category should have gotten the same prize, or if you did give a 20 charge prize, then you should have given the other categories 5 charges PER category. If you lead in 2, you should get 10 charges.

The way it works is just lame sorry.

I agree with that the reward system for the FS quests is rather borked. On Test Center, I was the leader in both number of items turned in and quality of items, yet I was only rewarded one item.

Believe it or not, the reward system now is better then it was. Before this went Live, you only gained a reward item if you turned in the highest number of items, or the highest quality items.

From the feedback that I recieved during the testing phase on TC, the new reward system is about as good as it will get. The reward may not be the best item, but I can think of some Jedi that would love to get their hands on one....

Drashk, it's not just that though.

The person that turned in the most items get the Lightsaber crafting tool with 20 charges, yes 20.

Everybody else got one with 5 charges. Even if you led in 3 catagories (like me,) I still only got one item with 5 charges. If I only got one item with 20 charges, that would be one thing, but 5?

I put in 3 times as much work, yet got 1/4 as much reward.

The way that the original reward system worked was that you only had 2 chances to gain a reward. Now, we have a chance to gain a reward for the highest number items turned in per category of item. I would assume that there is also the chance of earning a reward for the highest quality of each category of item.

You only gain 1 reward if you turn in the highest quality or number of items, Overallor per item.

You may see it this way, however you are incorrect. You turned in X number of items. The person who turned in the highest total number of items turned in more items then you and therefore did 'more work' then you did. As I said before, the addition of the 5 charge tool reward was nota part of theoriginal reward system.

I'll pass on concerns about the crafting reward, however I honestly don't see any changes in store. At least the crafting tool isn't completely expendable. like the Melee power up is.

I kinda liked the all-in-one resource scanner...it's not really refined (no sound effects, no scanning effect), but it works!

You are able to gain one for the Phase 2 and 3 Survey quests. Quite handy if you have more then one toon on the same server.

Dont mean to take anything off topic, but Im kinda sweating over a problem here with the Phase 2 FS crafting quests. Possibly worrying over nothing, but I am worried....

I completed the quests some time before the deadline, due to time restraints I was only able to complete the minimun requirements.

Now Altho I havent been back to the village yet, again due to time online, a quick log onto the server yesterday revealed my Force journal not showing any quest complete indication and if the reward which I am believing to be the sabre crafting tool from the rest of the posts here, if placed into the inventory, is not there

Now I may be a little premptive here, so I do apologise if I am, but thought I best find out from some of you good people if things were OK or at defcon 1 panic stations .

Drashk, that is incorrect. See the tool is 0.00 with either 5 or 20 "charges" for getting a critical success. Since normal lightsaber crafting tools go all the way up to 15.00 just like any other tool, once the charges are gone the item is TOTALLY worthless. Why use a 0.00 when even a noob LS novice can make better?

Yea, I would far rather have had an all in one survey tool or something myself, or even an all in one 15.00 crafting tool. Heck even better an all in one Crafting station. This is of zero use to a crafter.

I understand that the rewards used to suck even worse, they are better now. This probably comes from them not wanting 12 of the 20 charge ones floating around, that's a lot of sabers. So they tried to keep the number down. The whole mess comes from them giving rewards that are nice but don't apply to a crafter at all.

I also wonder what happened to the other crafting tools. Did the second place person get them? Did they vanish because I won more then one category?

Wish I had the money back I spent buying resources.

The very situation you bring up here is one of the exact reasons why I do not participate in the FS/Village system.

ROI is simply......weak.

I discovered the only reason he was still on his perch was that he had been nailed there.
