This didn't happen to anyone else?

...with three 109 quality combat modules in a cluster (total rating 329) and two Auto-Repair modules with a quality of 20 each, total of 40, and took the little guy (well, 4455 HAM) out to do Rebel faction missions.

Coupe weird things... even when set to ranged attack mode ON, 90 percent of the time he would do the melee attack animation of just waving his saw (he didn't flail around though, he stayed three-legged), even though his combat spam said he was shooting. It usually happened that I'd give him the attack command, he'd shoot a lightning bolt, move to a new position, and the use the melee animation, even though the target was way out of range. Occasionally I'd see him shoot the LLC. This happened against both stationary targets (the mission objective) and against NPCs.

Oh yeah... once when he was attacking, I gave him the switchmode command, and it said "Ranged pet attack mode OFF" each time. I think the mode and animations are confused, somehow.

I did like how his 40 points of auto-repair energy applied to all three pools, though I do wish it was a voice command we could program.

I feel like a bit of a hypocrite after being rather vehement in believing astromechs shouldn't fight. At least if he gets hurt I can fix him.

I haven't had it happen to an R-unit. It happened to my DZ-70 before the patch.

That was kind of odd... I readied it and programmed it, and it let me program the "Use Ranged Attack" command. I didn't think the DZ-70 had both, but I wasn't complaining.

It let me switch back and forth and was working fine, until I stored it and brought it out later. Then everytime I issued the command, it would say that the ranged attack was turned off. It wouldn't let me program a different command either.
