That's so depressingly true... and yet it's beautiful at the same time. *sigh*

I find that life as a DE is quite like life on Rori (where I decided to start). I love it and hate it all at the same time.

Well, I haven't seen very many on my server on Rori. In fact, I only know one other droid engineer, and I think he may have given up. I'm hoping that I'll be able to corner the small market that is Rori. Besides, it's cool to know that when you see someone running around with a droid, that you made it. =)

Anyway, if you are on Kauri Galaxy and are thinking of being a droid engineer on Rori; DON'T! It's my market! Stay away! LOL. Just kidding, the more the merrier, as long as it's not too many. Being a DE is so lonely sometimes, especially on Rori.

Well Im on Kauri too and from Rori. I finally got sick of flying from Rori to Naboo to Corellia to buy Extrusive ore so I moved to corellia at great expense and set up shop. Wouldn't you believe the next day Corellia loses all extrusive ore and its on Rori now? Just cant win.

I bet I could make a killing moving around and harvesting nothing but extrusive ore... then go to planets that don't have it, set it up on the bazaar, and watch the cash flow in... Maybe I'll try this someday if I ever get tired of grinding further up the DE skills trees to get more useless/broken/nerfed stuff. Bleh, blah, and BLECH!

DE's we are

and not to proud

we sell what we can

to any crowd

business there is

but not like we thought

droids do almost nothing

and still they are bought

a few help the crafters

one helps to fight

remember the movies?

this doesnt seem right

we hope in SOE

to make DE work

but know as a player

we are getting the jerk

its early yet

for a game such as this

so time i will give it

before i go a miss

but in the mean time

DE's are all glum

we onlky make5 real droids (med, craft, and probot, repair and power)

and they are all dumb

my ode to DE

I think that I shall never see,
A useful droid from a D.E.

A droid with modules working as intended,
A surgical droid that to our wounds has tended.

A droid that holds its own in war,
That makes skilling up less of a chore.

A droid that, when we experimented,
Improvements then we will have lent it.

Within whose frame modules lay;
Who serves a purpose as we play.

Droids are made by fools like me,
But only Sony can fix D.E.
