I don't have a lot of time to play each day and I've found that I enjoy scouting around and mining substances. However statwise I don't really know what makes a certain mineral better than another. I also don't know what minerals are needed by certain classes. So maybe you all can help me out.

1) Which stats and their minimum quality needed and which minable substances are important toDroid Engineersto make good quality products?

2) Which minable substances are used for grinding to "level up" where stats aren't really important?

If this has been discussed before, a link to that thread would be cool as well.

Most DEs will sell you their first-born children for a supply of high-quality extrusive ore, or other rare minerals.

A good high quality chemical would also be valued, and if you can find a chemical that has conductivity too....

Oh yeah... and factory crates of Electronics GP and/or memory modules would be nice. I can't afford a factory yet.

Fiberplast and Steel are for grinding..

but for quality stuff, Copper, Steel, Aluminum, Inert gas, Polymer, Fiberplast, Extrsive Ore, Silicastic Ore.

Mainly look for Conductivity and overall quality

there is some more specfific for the really rare stuff..

I'm not sure why you areconcerned with quality, it still doesn't really affect anything.

If you do nothing else, start collecting Steel and Fiberplast as soon as you can get factories. Having a large stockpile of this is going to be needed when you can make the Advanced Droid Frames. I can go through about 10k steel in about 15 minutes when grinding. Of course, that 10k steel (and the fiberplast) will net me almost 30k Droid crafting XP.
