I'm affraid your silence is quickly going to cause irreversible damage. Over the last month Droid Engineer's have posted post after post of excellent idea'sand reletivly simple temperary fixed that you've admitted in other forum posts that are quite doable.

Our suggestion's and conserns have fallen on deaf ears. Whats the point of posting anymore? We're just typing into the wind. Wasteing our energy.

Look at this board. The frustration level is critical. I've a suspission, even if you do come and post, asking for our advice like you do for other classes, that your just not going to get nearly the quality of advice that we've already given over and over again.

Its reallyis sad. Starwars is a world of wonder and Droids are a huge part of it. However, unfortunatly, not in SWG. Your silence has confirmed that you do not feel this way.

at least the have responded to the dev issues ... Not a word on the smuggler forum yet. However i heard Hybrid classes were coming last. Oh well ... both my professions are low on the Dev list it seems ... i should have learned from UO, dev's always love Tamers.

Shoulda been a Tamer, but god how i would hate myself.

Rome wasnt built in a day. They are responding to concerns, i dont understand what you mean. Just because they dont post about every last comment doesnt mean they arent listening.

Do you have any idea how difficult and utterly complex this game is to make?

Actually, this game is NOT complex to make. Most of the code can be taken from modified Duku muds. The GUI is easy to do and the complex systems are really not complex at all. The most impressive features of the game are the graphics.

The point is, if SOE did not have a functioning profession to launch the game, the profession should never have been included in the selection screen. The only reason that Droid Engineers were thrown in is because a) someone at Skywalker probably freaked when the notion of not having droids in the game came across his or her table and b) there is no NPC economy to fall back upon.

Face it. This game is in Beta. It's a disgrace to those developers that DO take the time and effort to put out a game that is nearly complete.
