Thread: 300cr per Seeker Droid is entirely possible (and I am doing it)!

Dont believe? Check out -3067 -2652 on corellia on the Bria Galaxy.

I currently am, admittedly, taking a small loss per seeker droid. However, the increased vendor activity at my vendor, has nearly quadrulpled, the total sales of all my items (weapons and powerups, especially my 32% action reduction) has far outweighed the (seriously, 10 credit loss) per seeker droid sold.

I would actually turn a profit doing this if I diddnt find a greedy **edit** miner who was willing to sell mea ferrous metal at a decent price (2cr per unit). Then I would be turning a profit. If you want to know exactly how I do it, email me in game! (Character Name: Joules Winnfield).

I can alsopull a profit selling lemonaid from a lemonaid stand outside my house for 10 cents a glass...

but its not worth my time.

sell seeker droids to help out fellow players? yah thats cool. To make a profit? Not the way things are today. The time spent doing it = credits lost. Droid storage units pull more profit per resource than these things by far... and there is just (if not moreso) as much of a market for them.

The extra business I pull in, the small loss I take on the droids (and great xp they are) more than makes up for the incredible amount of extra business I get. I admit, our business sells everything extremely cheap ( a crate of weapon powerups that do 32% one stat and 15% (16 rounded) to the next stat for 3k is an amazing deal). I sold more of those powerups during the time I stocked and advertised those seeker droids than I did in the two days prior (excluding custom orders) of general vendor selling. Amazing. It is hard to do. You need alot of friends willing to give their lots to you, so basically, you become self sufficient, able to produce seeker droids at a small profit margin, small loss, however the increased total revenue of a repeating, customer base buying not only your droids, but your other items as well, is amazing.

Lets also not forgot the great exp gained.

I admit, its almost a circle with Bounty Hunters and myself. They get my stuff at extremely cheap prices, I get enough profit to stay in business (I currently spend all extra credits earned either A) For factory Re-Deeding (FIX THIS DEVS) or B) Extra grind resources. I almost restore the bounty hunters to their old prices for droids (sorry, cant do 200 without a money-tree).

And it feels good to help broken classes (look at ourselves, and BE's still, among other classes.

I have to agree. When I can make a Surgical droid and sell it for 45,000 credits in the same amount of time it takes to make a few seekers (And I still cant keep them in stock) my biggest question is why would I want to?
