He assists medics, as would a hospital assist a medic.

Medical modules fit into any droid that can take them will allow people around the droid to heal wounds, such as action or health, outside of camps and med centers.

Nah, as far as anyone I know has been able to tell it works for anyone within a certain distance of the droid.

In fact, this has led to the possibility of using a droid as a tool of war in quite a unique way, but it is potentially exploitative, and I won't elaborate here.

Taking a well-deserved vacation from his successful Droid Engineering business, Master Rho can be found puttering around the galaxy.

I think you are confusing the 110 Medical rating with with the skill needed to actually use Stimpack Cs. The medical rating on a droid does not increase your medical skills any, it however does boost the effectiveness of each heal. The Medical center is rated at 100, which means that 100% of your skill is effective in the Med Center. A rating of 110 gives you a 10% bonus to all healing done, while in the presence of the Droid, as long as it is not *Low Power.

According to the latest info posted at the top of the DE Board, the Medical module has an area effect, just like a crafting station does.

Just to clarify, if I'm only a Novice Medic and I have my droid out w/ medical module then I'll be able to use up to Stim-B REALLY well?

Listen to what Drashk wrote. Drashk does a good job of describing the situation...at least up to the patch last week. Unfortunately I don't know if it still holds the same post patch.

Anyhow a droid with the medical module does boost the effectiveness but only if you are able to use the chemical item. In other words, if you can't use stimpack C to begin with, then you won't be able to use stimpack C with the droid out.
