So lets say they make a droid commander or whatever right and you get all these bonuses to your ability to well... tell robots what to do... ok

But lets also say in the normal Droid Engineer profession you have extra bonuses which complement the Droid Commander profession. Thus a DE/DC would be able to control the highest robots, a DC would only be able to control average range robots, and a DE would control low range robots.

Maximum allowed bots summoned per quality grade by profession at master level

High Medium Low

DE 1 2 3

DC 2 3 4

DE/DC 3 4 5

So a DE can control 1 super bot 2 medium ones or 3 low ones

Now I figure you all wonder about the numbers. a DE/DC controlling 5 low droids. I think its fair because they are manmade and build to serve, there one motivation is complete the objective given. This would be an interesting PvP scenario as well. But never fear I try to put this in check below, read on.

You could go about doing this by making one of the 5 droid a control/relay and the other 4 as recievers. This of course would have to be 2 modules (control module / obey module).

If the control droid is taken out the other droids stop working after they complete the last task received from the control droid.

So you go build another control droid, you summon all your droids and using the radial menu uplink them to the new controller droid and do whatever you want.

This next part is where I am a bit frustrated as I have a right to be I suppose.

There would be no dabbling for super bots you either go all out DE/DC or you dont. Droid commander would come after Master Droid Engineer and don't force us to pick up a combat profession for DC xp because that is really lame in my opinion.

My only suggestion is create a bot usage formula. The more bots you have out the more xp you gain over time, as long as your character is not AFK. If you are faction declared you get a bigger bonus over time.

anywho guess thats it.
