I have been a MDE for about 2 weeks now. I have been selling my droids a little at a time but steadily making money. I have recieved a few complaints/questions that I would like to see if anyone has an answer to.
1. What should the pricing scale be for droids?
a. r2 & r2 ADV
b. r3 & r3 adv
c. probot & adv
d. Droids with crafting stations in them
2. How do you get 4 charges on each battery?
All the questions and concerns I get are from people that do not know what goes into building a droid and the time involved. My pricing has been based on the difficulty of finding resources, having to outsource some components, the maintaining of factories and my time involved. It is not like we can do a cost analysis for droids in the galaxy.

I dont feel myself ready to answer about the pricing guide but can answer your batterie question: use good resources (high conductivity) and experiment on them ![]()

Heh, should I wait for the next installment of the question, or just answer now? :-D
For item 1, it's just way too difficult to say, except for the broadest general guidelines. Each server is different, and each DE prices differently. I personally use a spreadsheet as the basis for my pricing, but then after a while I just 'wing it' and alter prices for a whole host of reasons. For instance, I recently bumped up the price of my 'artisan droid' R2 units with crafting/storage by a couple of thousand credits (up to 18,000) because I just couldn't keep them in stock. As it stands now, I could probably do so again, but I'm really not TRYING to screw my customers.
Item 2 is easier: Use copper with conductivity of at least 750 and experiment to at least 75% effectiveness.
