Don't worry about it to much. Droid sales fluctuate a lot, maybe you just started advertising on a down day. I get days with only 40-50k sales, and others with 300K+. I found sales really shoot up once you've established a good base of repeat clients and referals (to the point of never having to advertise), but this takes time.

Buni pretty much hit it right on, its all about reputation and establishing a solid customer base.

Quick bullets on how to build a droid customer base:

- Location: You have to have your vendor near one of the major cities - Theed, Coronet, or the Bestine/Anchorhead region.

- Customer Service: Potential droid customers are eager to have someone explain what droids can do for them, and will be very grateful if you are patient with them.

- Return sales and referrals: The value of customer referrals for droids cannot be underestimated. Good location and quality customer service translates into referrals.

Hit the nail on the head.

Referrals cannot be underestimated - if you follow the above recipie, you will get a good, loyal customer base.

I'd also add in a well stocked vendor, with a wide variety of droids - on the global map.

This is just as important too, for a number of reasons. I've learned which droids/products are in demand most and try to keep those items stocked on my vendor in relative proportions. Then it's much easier to tell a customer that what they are looking for is already on my vendor, just get it at your convenience.

And advertising on the global map is a must-have too. If you're a lone vendor/crafter shop, you need Merchant Advertising III (and ultimately that's the only merchant skill you really need unless you're running a full mall).

Another addition to desirable locations: Just to the east of Tyrena. one of the three most popular BH terminal/informant combos is located right there and you're within a 30sec drive of the terminals. Have a vendor always stocked with BH droids and you'll have more business than you can handle.
