Are you on Tempest?

I am and I have been one-starred there everytime I post. I know about 2 people I ticked off there, and they have been doing that since.

I say just don't pay any attention. Let them get their jollies off one-starring. Hey, at least 1 star is better than none, right? lol.

BTW, It wasn't me. Some people are just jerks.

Personally I find the rating system to be total BS. NO ONE but the devs and the Correspondent should be able to one-star or delete anything. The system makes it too easy for someone who is pissed off at someone else to go around one-starring everything. In other words, more childish drama.

Devs and correspondents are the only one's able to delete things. One starred posts aren't deleted, they just fall below the default filter.

As for taking away the ability for readers to one-star posts, you can only really do that by taking away the ability for readers to rate posts. If all you do is take away the ability to one star posts then people will two star them and the two star will become the lowest mark given and people will complain about their posts being two starred and in the end you will end up with Nijel Huffington explaining 'Yes, but this one goes to 11'.

Ah well. I've been rather outspoken on both this and the Jedi issue so I figure someone has (had?) it in for me. *Shrugs.*
