Just cancel your account.

I know it sounds like a stupid idea, but seriously these devs have shown an inadequacy for fixing this profession. I've been a DE since day 1 and have put up with nerfs and bugs that should of never made it out of beta. After months of putting up with this and being promised so many things from devs (none of which they've delivered on) I've come to the conclusion that cancelling is the best solution.

Now there will be those who flame me for even mentioning this, as if cancelling your account is some horrendous sin. I say that a mass exodus of DE's cancelling would send a clear message, if not to the Devs, then to the accountants.

Either way it's been somewhat enjoyable these last few months. I can't say it's been fun because with the state of the profession and the new proposals it's actually been a bit of a headache. If one day the devs get a clue and listen to their customer base I may be back, but until that day (which I doubt will come anytime soon) I must say goodbye to all...

I have a better solution. Everyone quit griping. Personally I'm sick of hearing the whining(not you Gimps, everyone else) and it's to the point where I come here very little now and post here even less because 90% of the threads are DE's whining and no constructive thought whatsoever. And by the way guys, other forums have tried to keep the whining to a minimum in their communities because none of them wanna "be like the DE Community". You know how that feels to know that the only reason you bought the game to begin with was to be a DE, and now other communities notice all the bickering and whining and don't want to be like the DE's? It's to the point where I've considered dropping DE many times. Yeah, the state of the profession is bad, but what's worse is the reputation you guys are giving yourselves. I will say this. This is the one forum that only my curiosity keeps me coming back to anymore, curiosity that maybe something constructive has been offered. If not for that, I would never bother with the rest of the DE community.

And I wish cancelling my account was a solution. However I have my Ranger which I won't delete for nothing. I have FUN playing him, and the community is a true community that offers constructive advice rather than a slew of posts on the Droid Handler (why on Earth do you guys need countless threads about the same EXACT subject?).

I'd love to know who 5-starred this post! If anything I figured all the trolls would be out with their 1-stars, but it's good to see someone out there agrees

Puck -

Your post got one-starred - not by me - though, I can kind of see why someone would not like it.

The number of constructive posts on this forum over time is an order of magnitude higher than the gripes. The problem is that we have posted for months with great ideas, and just seem to see them being ignored.
