Thread: Why the grief?

Ive been a master DE for around 8 months I have the lowest prices on combat bh and 59 power det droids ( I run a Bh guild)


yet i advertised it on trade and got flack from someone claiming to be a veteran. I have made well over 20 mill or better in my days as DE and i dont do it for cash more to provide BH with what they need being one myself at a fair price. Seems alot of people get into crafting for one goal (CASH) and when someone like me does it to make a small profit and provide a service we are blackbaled by the rest on our server who are determined to overcharge.


Yes Droids dont decay but ive sold on average 3 a day last 8 months. combat that is .


so maybe you should just lower your price and stop getting mad at those of us who have business sence .

Droid Engineers have a right to make a living too. Not all of us are Bounty Hunters you know. Sure you can afford to give your Droids away, you get your cash from bounty hunting so what do you care? Meanwhile people like me are trying to make a living for our characters with this profession.


The last thing we need is for people like you loss-leadering us into a Droid economy that just can't support more than a scant handful of Engineers. Despite the bugs, the true #1 problem with Droid Engineering is DEs who just refuse to charge for what their product is actually worth. I suppose you think you're being altruistic, and you are, but you hurt your fellow DEs beyond the telling of it. If Droids are perceived as being worthless it is at least in part because people like you refuse to charge what should be charged for them.


It truly is no wonder why DEing is the least mastered crafting profession. Our fellow DEs insist on shooting us in the foot!
