I can heal my combat droid with area heals (bacta spray) and buff it with doc buffs.
Is this intended, or a bug?
(I play an MBH/MCM as well as this account...so not trying to be cute here. I just don't want to use a known bug)

As faras I know, it has been around since beta and the Devs have never commented on it. I would suggest it is a bug; it just doesn't make sense that you could heal a droid this way.

Auto-healing with med stim creates a never-ending attack option that is wrong.
The only saving feature is that droids aren't that powerful.
Needs to be fixed. Thanks for the input.

well as far as i can remember healing of droidshas not been around since beta, I only noticed it when the CU came about with the healing "spells" that droids were able to be healed with them. as far as buffs go preCU not sure since i never was a doc i never had my droids buffed.
could you pull the knife out of my back? In one single sentance you insulted the entire DE comunity. I use my combat droid all the time and he is plenty powerfull and im level 40, the trick is to have the droid grouped and the droid is bumped up to your level. I even took the droid out gorax hunting with my guild and i think i had to fix him up a few time but thats cause droids dont heal on their own anymore.
argh!

I am just speaking from experience. Did not mean to offend. Besides, if I were to use a knife on you, I would be looking you in the eyes.

At first I couldn't understand why anyone would say this. My MBH uses his droid all the time. When you group with them they make decent tanks and the extra DPS is nothing to sneeze at. Then I read your sig and it all made sense. Tothe current group ofjedi, things are either uber or they suck. Maybe we should market them like this. "I've got this nice new attachment that will increase your damage by a couple of hundred points per second and will distract PvE opponents." Now how much would you pay?!?!?!

The droid healing used to require a specialized stim called a droid repair kit. If an area heal or a bacta toss is fixing a droid, seems that the rules have changed.

I can confirm that bacta shot definately works as my alt hunts with a CL16 pet and CL30 droid, grouped, and takes out CL65 lairs solo without being attacked, Have novice medic too so droid is combat/medic droid and healing 1k each time (with a healing shirt)
Personally I hope they don't 'fix it' as it's the only way I can hunt solo lairs as rangers are nerfed

The whole bacta heal thing came about as droids and pets were very much the same in the eyes of the SOE developers - kinda made the droid repair kits a bit useless except I still sell loads (?).
I'd imagine that as (if)pets and droids become seperate things this will change back.
