A guildie got kicked from a group for having his med bot out and ungrouped because they said his bot would cause vis. Is this accurate?

I never bothered to check but here's an easy way to tell if it will give vis or not. Hovery your mouse over it on the radar. If it says "entity" it will NOT give visibility. While as I said I've never bothered to check, to the best of my knowledge droids are NOT npcs or player characters and should give NO vis.

As far as I am aware they do not cause visibility. One of my guild members is also a member of the hunt team for our weekend hunts and we have to watch for NPCs and stray players. But my droids have never been the issue/

Droids that are not grouped will give visibility on maste rifel men useing the cover shot. but I dont know anything about it affecting jedi. besides, what dose a mighity jedi that gets the most love from devs have to fear if they cant turn invisible anyway?

Maybe the ones that do NOT want to PvP every minute of their play life but want to enjoy the abilities their hard work to Jedi got them. Just the same that Bounty Hunters are NOT all necessarily out to kill Jedis. I myself use the Bounty Hunter abilities as 1) it takes up less points if I amalready Scout and 2) Some of the abilities come in handy.
Just recently my Jedi friend lost his visibility while we were buffing in town before a hunt when a Bounty Hunter came by and started hurling abuse at him for not wanting to fight. Why should he if he didnt want to.

Because he took up Jedi knowing that he will be hunted?
[Edit: And he got enough Visibility to end on the terms, his fault]
But that discussion really doesnt belong here.

That isn't what the poster is talking about. It has nothing to do with being able to turn invisible, they are talking about the visibility system that reports Jedi and puts them on the boards. The reason that this is important, is not all Jedi are finished templates or even the ones that are can't all kill BH's. Many Jedi especailly new ones have problems with BH's.
I don't "think" that Droids cause visibility. Before the CU, my Probot Tank was my best grinding buddy, and I never showed up on the boards. I can't say for sure though, but I think they are safe.
