Since health is now solely dependant on CL, you can tell the CL by the amount of health (A CL-30 droid will have health = 3742).
But the basic formula (from previous threads) is each level of armor installed gives +5 to CL and every 55 pts of combat rating in the modules used will give +5 to CL (with CL= 30 max). And I believe that if you do not use any combat modules the droid will not have any attacks.

Now that I've gotten your attention...
I'm a relatively new MDE and have a few questions, thanks in advance for helping.
1. I'm only a novice pilot, but will master pilots be able to use lvls 2-6 flight computers I make?
2. Is there anyway to know the difficulty level of a combat droid when it's in deed form?
3. If the answer to question #2 is no (which I suspect), in what stage of the crafting process can I find out the difficulty level?
4. Do different resources spawn differently on different planets? For example, I'm looking for Tolium Reactive Gas. If I don't find it on Tantooine should I assume it's no where in the galaxy?
5. Speaking of Tolium Reactive Gas....does that ever spawn?!

1. Yes, Ace Pilots may use any level flight computer. They will want to stick with level 6, though, since it has the greatest storage potential (higher level programs require more storage space).
2. No.
3. The combat level stat is never shown to us. It isn't shown during crafting or in the final deed. This needs to be changed.
4. Yes, although some planets share resource pools (e.g. Naboo, Lok and Endor), you should visit ALL the planets in the galaxy before giving up. A MUCH easier method is to visit www.swgcraft.com and use their "Find Resource" link.
5. Named resources are rare and sometimes you have to wait for them to spawn on your server.
Good luck!

To further the combat related replies. If you make sure you put in at least a Level4 Armor and a 100 rating combat module it will be Level 30. At least until they find something to change it again
